HUNTING ON THE TRAIL OF THE MOOSE
La Baronnie de Kamouraska is renowned for the quality of its well-preserved game territory.
The 65.2 km2 territory with exclusive hunting rights is covered by a vast network of trails and roads stretching over 100 km. Moose hunting is carried out in the purest Quebec tradition. Our success rate and wildlife policy have contributed to our reputation. Passionate about ethical and sustainable hunting, we are committed to rigorous management based on the protection and conservation of this wildlife heritage.
La Baronnie de Kamouraska is an exceptional place where every hunter lives his passion to the full, year after year, as a true partner. They contribute to the enhancement of the richness of the territory by practicing selective hunting, respecting ethics, a charter of values and the same environmental principles. We are aware of the "economic and wildlife" value of this magnificent animal, and we want to preserve what is also at the heart of our identity, and hope that our children too will one day be able to share these moments for which we are ready to give up everything when the call of the moose arrives in autumn.
The territory of La Baronnie de Kamouraska is divided into 6 exclusive hunting zones (between 8 km2 and 16 km2). One zone per group and per moose. We require 2 permits per moose. Bow, crossbow and firearm hunting are available, as is guiding on request. The hunting season runs from mid-September to mid-November, and stays are 6 to 7 nights. You can choose between two booking formulas for your hunting stays.
Living in symbiosis with the land and its age-old traditions. The land welcomes us and nourishes us too. Our conservation approach and wildlife policy only allow us to take what's necessary. We welcome only a small number of privileged hunters, so a great atmosphere and spirit of camaraderie prevail when hunting time rolls around.
If you would like to reserve exclusive use of the territory and accommodation for a group, please contact us as soon as possible.
